Run the Vineyards - Rocklands Farm 5K
Run the Vineyards - Rocklands Farm 5K takes place on Sunday October 25, 2026 at Rocklands Farm Winery in Poolesville, MD. The event features a scenic 5K route through vineyard and farm terrain and an after party on the winery property.
The course is chip timed with instant results and follows a well groomed cross country style layout. Surfaces include hard packed dirt, gravel, and grass trails. The course is professionally marked and includes hydration stations and volunteer support. Awards are given to top overall finishers and age group winners in male and female divisions, with age brackets such as Under 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, and 40 to 49.
Walkers are welcome but must be registered and observe a one hour course limit. Event amenities include a high quality tech shirt available in womens, mens or unisex, and youth sizes, with an option to upgrade to long sleeves for an additional fee. Additional items listed by the organizer include a souvenir wine glass, optional finisher medals available for purchase, free race photos, and free parking. The after party features wines available for drinking, tastings, and purchase, a complimentary drink ticket for those age 21 and over, live music, food truck service, and indoor and outdoor seating.
