Get Your Kicks 5K & Fun Run
The Get Your Kicks event takes place on September 12, 2026, beginning at Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics, 20733 N. Broad Street, Carlinville, Illinois. The program includes a family-friendly half mile fun run and a 5K race along a mostly flat course.
The course begins along the CAH&C Wellness Path and continues through Carlinville's residential streets and the grounds of the Macoupin County Historical Society's Anderson Mansion. The event marks the 100th anniversary of Route 66 and is organized to support local healthcare projects.

Participation supports the Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics Auxiliary and its mission to enhance local healthcare through projects and initiatives that benefit patients, staff, and the surrounding community. Awards will be presented to the Overall Top Male and Overall Top Female, and to the top male and female finishers in these age divisions: Under 10, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
