Lake Lou Yaeger Triathlon in Litchfield, Illinois
The Lake Lou Yaeger Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned multisport event held at Milnot Beach, 4932 Beach House Trail, Litchfield, IL. The event offers multiple race formats that start with a beach swim in Lake Lou Yaeger, followed by a bike on flat country roads and a run around the lake area with sections through campsites and lakeside views.

Pre-event packet pickup occurs the day before at Milnot Beach. Packets include a wristband for transition access, a timing chip to be worn on the left ankle, bike and helmet stickers, and a race bib to be worn on the run. Wetsuit rules depend on water temperature and can affect awards eligibility. On-course support includes a bike mechanic in transition, a SAG vehicle, and medical staff. Time cutoffs apply for swim, bike, and run segments and race management may remove athletes who cannot meet cutoffs. Registration includes a race t-shirt, swim cap, finisher medal, awards, live results, and a post-race festival with food, drinks, and music.
