The Georgia Aquarium 5K: Sea Horse is a 5K walk/run taking place in downtown Atlanta. The event is in its ninth year and uses a certified USATF course (USATF Map #GA20016WC). Format and entry details
The event offers both an in-person race and a virtual option. The virtual window runs from March 7, 2026 to April 12, 2026. The in-person race will be held in normal weather conditions but may be delayed or cancelled for lightning or extreme weather. Strollers are allowed; dogs are prohibited. Registrations are final; refunds are not provided. Participants may request a switch between in-person and virtual entries until February 20, 2026; a transfer fee and applicable taxes apply.
