Kirkwood Spring Fling 5K Road Race
This event takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, specifically in the Kirkwood neighborhood. The course goes through tree-lined streets, past historic homes and colorful murals.
The race is an officially timed 5K with results provided by On Time Results. It is a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
Awards are given three deep for male and female participants in all age categories, including overall winners. Top finishers in each category receive a Kirkwood Spike Award. There are also special prizes for adults in costume, those with strollers, or those with dogs.
Registration is $30 for general participants, with a $20 rate for ages 1-12. Participants receive a cotton blend race t-shirt, with size selection during registration.
The event is part of the larger Kirkwood Spring Fling Festival & Tour of Homes. All proceeds benefit the Kirkwood Neighbors Organization, a local non-profit.
