The Kirkwood Spring Fling is a 5K road race in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta, GA. The event is scheduled for May 16, 2026 and is set at 11 Kirkwood Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30317. Top finisher age groups are: overall, 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Awards are three deep for male and female in each category, with overall male and female winners. Top finishers receive a Kirkwood Spike Award. Special prizes are noted for adults in costume, and for participants with strollers or dogs. Cotton blend race t-shirts will be distributed at packet pickup and on race day.

The listed entry price is $30 and registration for the 2026 event opens February 8, 2026; 1,100 spots are shown as available. There are no officially designated parking areas; attendees are asked to plan to walk from nearby neighborhood areas. Roads near Bessie Branham Park may be closed or have limited access during the festival.
