Brookhaven Bolt 5K
The Brookhaven Bolt is a community 5K run and walk held in the Ashford Park neighborhood of Brookhaven, Atlanta. The event is presented by Blade Injury Law and takes place on May 16, 2026. Proceeds from the annual event support Ashford Park Elementary School and the Ashford Park School Education Foundation.
The course runs through neighborhood streets around Village Place Brookhaven and Dresden Drive. Registration options include a standard 5K entry with chip timing, race bib, race t-shirt, and a digital race packet. A "Phantom Runner" registration allows a registrant who cannot attend to donate their fee to the school while still receiving a race shirt.
Awards are given overall and for masters, plus 1st through 3rd place in multiple age-group categories starting at 0-9 and continuing through 70 and up. The event lists COVID-19 safety guidance asking participants to follow CDC recommendations, to self-monitor health at home, and to stay home if experiencing symptoms or recent exposure to COVID-19.
Additional event details include sponsorship opportunities, a course map, and past race results and photos. The event also supports fundraising efforts for Ashford Park Elementary School, with a recorded fundraising total shown for the school.
