Event overview
The Geelong Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 12 April 2026 in Belmont, Victoria, at 162 Barrabool Road. The event offers two distances:
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 5 km
The course runs along the Barwon River and is described as fast and scenic. The event is the Geelong Cross Country Club’s annual fundraiser. Entry fees support Geelong’s University Hospital, including The Andrew Love Cancer Centre. The Running Company Geelong is listed as a sponsor. Age eligibility is 16 years and older for the half marathon and 12 years and older for the 5 km.
Registration and fees
Early bird registration is available until 31 December 2025. To have a bib posted, entrants must register by 15 March 2026; postage is an additional $8.00. Entries close at 12 noon on Friday 10 April 2026 or earlier if sold out.
