Geelong Half Marathon

The Geelong Half Marathon is an annual road running event organised by the Geelong Cross Country Club. The 2027 edition is scheduled for Sunday 4th April 2027. The race follows a fast, scenic course along the Barwon River in Geelong, running from Belmont to Breakwater then up to Fyansford and returning to Belmont.

The event includes a shorter 5 km Run alongside the half marathon. Entry numbers are capped to limit congestion at parking areas, toilets, drink stations and on the course. The organiser describes the event as relatively simple, friendly and affordable.

The Geelong Half Marathon also serves as the club's annual fundraiser. Entry fees directly support Geelong's University Hospital, with particular support for the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.
