The Geelong Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 12 April 2026 in Belmont, Geelong. The event is based at 162 Barrabool Road, Belmont VIC, and the course runs along the Barwon River. Distances offered are:
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 5 km
The half marathon is open to runners aged 16 and over. The 5 km event is open to runners aged 12 and over.
Entry, fees and key dates
Early bird registration closes 31 December 2025. Entries close at 12 noon on Friday 10 April 2026, or earlier if sold out. To have a race bib posted, entrants must register by 15 March 2026; postage is an additional $8.00.
Published entry fees (inclusive of mandatory charges) include early bird and standard categories. Examples listed are: half marathon early bird $80.00 and standard $90.00; half marathon concession early bird $60.00 and standard $70.00; 5 km early bird $35.00 and standard $40.00; 5 km concession early bird $27.00 and standard $32.00.
The event is organised by the Geelong Cross Country Club as a fundraiser, with entry fees supporting Geelong’s University Hospital, including the Andrew Love Cancer Centre. Sponsors include The Running Company Geelong. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
