Event Overview
The Bible Run is an annual community event held at Robert Smith Family Park in Fate, Texas. The event features several participation options for different interests, including timed and untimed distances. Participants can choose to run or walk the courses, which are designed to support local charitable efforts through Encounter Church.
Distance Options
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K: A gun-timed race with eligibility for age group awards.
- 1 Mile: An untimed option intended for a social pace or those new to racing.
- Kid's Dash: A free 100-200 meter sprint for children.
- Virtual Option: A remote participation choice where materials are shipped to the registrant.
Participant Information
Registrants for the 5K and 1 Mile events receive an event-themed participation t-shirt and a finisher medal. For the 5K race, awards are presented to the top four finishers in multiple age divisions, ranging from under 4 to over 80 years old, as well as overall male and female winners.
Competitive runners are requested to line up at the front for the gun start. Awards are distributed on-site at the park following the conclusion of the races and will not be shipped to participants.
