Event Overview
The Bible Run is a first annual community event scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026. The event is held at Robert Smith Family Park in Fate, Texas. It features a mix of timed races, untimed activities, and a virtual option.
Events and Pricing
The event includes several options:
- 5K: A timed race with registration priced at $35.
- 1 Mile: An untimed event priced at $18.
- Kid's Dash: A free 100-200 meter sprint for children.
- Virtual Option: A remote participation option priced at $40.
Registration for the 5K and 1 Mile includes an event-themed t-shirt and a finisher medal. Registration for the Kid's Dash is free, but t-shirts and medals are available as add-on purchases.
Awards and Timing
The 5K is a gun-timed race. Awards are given to the top four finishers in each age group, as well as to the overall male and female winners. Age groups range from 0-4 up to 80+, divided by male and female categories. All awards are distributed on-site and are not shipped. The 1 Mile event is untimed and does not have age group awards.
Additional Information
A virtual race option is available, where participants receive their shirt and medal by mail. Volunteers can earn a code for a free race entry. Proceeds from the event are donated to Encounter Church in Fate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
