Head for the Cure 5K - North Texas (2027)
The 17th Annual Head for the Cure 5K - North Texas takes place on May 1, 2027 at Red Tail Pavilion, 2801 E Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074. The event raises awareness and funds for brain tumor research, patient support, education, and related initiatives.
Funds raised through the event will locally benefit UT Southwestern Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute, Grey Matters Support Group of North Texas, Path to Hope, and other national brain cancer programs and educational efforts.
Event activities include day-of packet pick up, a kids fun run, race awards and beneficiary remarks, recognitions for survivors and caregivers, a group survivor photo, and fundraising awards. Organizers provide resources such as a team captain kit and frequently asked questions material to support teams and participants.
