Head for the Cure 5K - North Texas 2026
The 16th Annual Head for the Cure 5K - North Texas takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Red Tail Pavilion, 2801 E Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074. The event program includes a kids fun run, a brain tumor survivor photo, and ceremonies titled "Keeping the Faith, Legacy of Love and Special Recognitions." Packet pick up is available on the day before the event and on race day.
Registration and fundraising
Registration options include an Early Bird 5K registration ($34) that includes an event t-shirt, timing bib and medal for participants ages 10 and up; an Early Bird 5K + Dog registration ($49) that includes a participant t-shirt, timing bib, medal and a dog bandana; a Kids Fun Run registration ($25) for children 9 or younger that includes a t-shirt and ribbon; and a Virtual Registration ($40) that includes a t-shirt and finishers medal mailed to the participant. All attendees will be given the opportunity to fundraise. Funds raised will benefit UT Southwestern, Grey Matters Support Group, Path to Hope and other national brain cancer programs.
