Garden City Turkey Trot 5M
The Garden City Turkey Trot 5M is a community running event held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at St. Paul's Recreation Complex, 285 Stewart Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530. The event is held rain or shine and supports several charities, including The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, MDA Muscular Dystrophy Association, The INN, and Council 1869.
There are multiple event options, including a Challenger Division for physically challenged competitors, an untimed Fun Run/Walk, and a 5 Mile Run/Walk. Packet pickup is available the evening before at St. Paul's School field house and on race morning at the field house. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance can request a personalized bib; bib lookup and self-lookup options are provided for participants.
Registration includes a race bib and a t-shirt for many participants and may include additional options such as donations and team registration. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Live online, email, and text results are provided, and event photography and same-day finish line pictures are available.
