Multisport Event on Singer Island
The Game On! Palm Beaches Triathlon takes place at Ocean Walk on Singer Island in the City of Riviera Beach. This multisport event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and utilizes a course that highlights the natural scenery and architecture of the Atlantic coast.
Participants can choose from several event formats:
- Sprint Triathlon: Includes a quarter mile ocean swim, a bike leg, and a run.
- Sprint Duathlon: Replaces the swim with a 1 mile run, followed by the bike and final run.
- Sprint Aquabike: Consists of the swim and bike portions only.
- Sprint Triathlon Relay: Open to teams of 2 or 3 people.
The swimming portion takes place in the Atlantic Ocean. The cycling leg follows an out and back route north on A1A and crosses the Blue Heron Bridge, providing views of Peanut Island and the Port of Palm Beach. The running course also crosses the Blue Heron Bridge and passes through the Town of Palm Beach Shores. The neighborhood is characterized by seaside architecture. All events conclude at the finish line located at Ocean Walk.
Singer Island is an oceanfront area featuring seven miles of beaches and various resorts.
