San Mateo Rotary Fun Run 2026
The San Mateo Rotary Fun Run is a charity running event at Seal Point Park on the San Francisco Bay Trail. The course is a fast, flat paved loop with bay views and separate routing for longer and shorter distances.
Distances offered:
- 5K scenic paved loop along the San Francisco Bay Trail
- 10K two bayfront loops
- Kids Fun Run about a 100-yard run near the registration area
Race entries include chip timing for the 5K and 10K, a commemorative T-shirt, and a goody bag. The event features a Halloween theme with costumes, prizes, and a post-race raffle. Strollers and dogs on leashes are permitted. Runners age 12 and younger who enter the 5K or 10K must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.
Registration fees listed for 2026 are adult 5K $40, adult 10K $45, student 5K $10, student 10K $15, and Kids Fun Run $5. Proceeds and sponsor support fund college scholarships for local students; the Fun Run has raised more than $475,000 for scholarships to date.
