Event Overview
The 5K Fun Run and Family Walk is the main annual fundraiser for the Chicago Coalition for Family Building. The event supports the organization's mission to remove financial barriers for people trying to build a family and to support those struggling with infertility.
Event Schedule and Activities
The event takes place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Blue Star Memorial Woods, 701 E Lake Ave in Glenview, Illinois. It begins with a chip-timed 5K, followed by a Kids Dash and a Family Walk. After the races, there will be a food truck, face painting, arts and crafts, and a DJ.
Registration includes a race bib and swag. A race shirt is included, but for registrations after September 10, shirt size and availability are not guaranteed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Event Distances and Fees
- 5K: $35 for ages 19+, $25 for ages 1-18.
- Kids Dash: $25 for ages 19+, $20 for ages 1-18.
- Virtual 5K: $25.
