Prostate Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run/Bike
This event is the ninth annual 5K walk, run, and bike event sponsored by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Illinois. It aims to bring awareness to prostate cancer and to support screening, early detection, treatment options, and ongoing research.
The event takes place simultaneously at four Illinois locations: Chicago, Aurora, East St. Louis, and the Springfield/Champaign/Urbana area. The main listed address is 809 E. 42nd Place, Chicago, IL 60653. The course format includes walking, running, and biking over a 5 kilometer distance.
Participation is open to anyone interested in the conversation around prostate cancer or in supporting people affected by prostate cancer. Participants must be 12 years or older and are required to sign a waiver. Registration has a fee of $35. Registration opens on January 26, 2026 and closes on August 15, 2026. The deadline to receive a T shirt for this event is August 1, 2026.
