Event Overview
This is the 9th annual Prostate Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run/Bike event. It is sponsored by the Prince Hall Masons in Illinois to raise awareness and support for prostate cancer screening, early detection, treatment, and research. The event occurs simultaneously at four locations in Illinois.
Event Details
The event is a 5K distance, open to walking, running, and biking. All proceeds go towards prostate cancer awareness, research, and assisting with free screenings.
Participants must be at least 12 years old and are required to sign a waiver.
Event Locations
The event takes place at four locations on the same day:
- Chicago: Starting and finishing at 809 E. 42nd Place.
- Aurora: The course is on Maston Lake Trail at Phillips Park.
- Springfield: The course is at Dreamland Park, 2300 Taylor Ave.
- East St. Louis: The course starts at Lincoln Middle School, 12 S. 10th St.
