Frozen Trash Panda
Frozen Trash Panda is the second race in the Winter Wild Thangs Trail Series, held at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, AL. The event offers trail races in two distances and is capped at 400 runners. All entrants receive a short sleeve tri blend race shirt and a finisher award; the shirt design is the same for the entire series.

Courses feature several bluff views with mountain scenery, creek crossings, and waterfalls. Several aid stations are located on course offering water, Gatorade, Coke, GU, pretzels, M&M's, and granola bars. The series operates as a cupless race; participants must use a hand held bottle, pack, or reusable cup. A RunningLane reusable cup is available for purchase at checkout for $5.
Packet pickup is available at the RunningLane Store at 2407 Memorial Parkway SW Suite 1, Huntsville, and there is also morning-of race pickup. Age group awards are offered in the following categories for all races: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Organizers state there will be very loose cutoffs and note a 17 minute per mile cutoff for Long Series participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
