Event details
The Frozen Paw is a 5K road run held in Downtown Rochester, Michigan on January 18, 2026. The event takes place during the Frost Festival and supports Leader Dogs for the Blind. The host location is Rochester Mills Beer Company. A two-day Expo on the Leader Dog campus is part of the event experience for 2026.
Registration and packages
In-person registration options include a Basic Package and a VIP Package. The Basic Package includes a long-sleeve race shirt, a 3-inch race medal, race bib, and a coupon for a free, age-appropriate beverage and food item at the post-race party. The VIP Package adds a branded coffee mug and a winter scarf and is capped at 400 registrants. A Virtual 5K option is available and includes a shirt, medal, race bib, and shipping. Current price ranges shown are: Basic from $34.09 to $55.49, VIP from $39.44 to $55.49, and Virtual $44.79.
Logistics and fundraising
Swag pick-up is scheduled on the Leader Dogs for the Blind campus and at the race site on the days immediately before and of the event. A post-race celebration is planned at the race site. Fundraising for Leader Dogs for the Blind is part of the event; current totals show $1,943.13 raised toward a $20,000 goal.
