Event Overview
The Frosty Five Run is the 15th annual event. It offers two race distances: a 5K and a 5 Mile run. The event takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Location & Course
The event starts at Studebaker Park Pavilion in Elkhart, Indiana. The course follows the paved River Greenway Trail along the Elkhart River through the woods. Both distances are described as mostly flat, with one very small hill. The 5K course is described as a "lollipop" or "T" shaped route with two-way traffic. The 5 Mile course adds an initial loop before joining the same path as the 5K. The start and finish are in different locations.
Event Details
The entry fee for either distance is $30. This fee includes chip timing, a finisher memento, age group awards (top three in 15 categories), and post-race refreshments. Long-sleeve shirts are optional for an additional $20.
Packet pickup is available on Friday, February 13 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Studebaker Pavilion, and on race day from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM.
Parking is available in three lots within the park, accessible from Belmont Street, with volunteers guiding participants. Additional parking is available at Mary Beck Elementary School. Large restrooms are on-site, and a fire will be lit in the cabin before and after the race.
Additional Information
Dogs are allowed to run with participants, but a waiver from the race director is required. Timing uses RFID tags attached to shoes, with a printing station for immediate finish times. Music will be provided by Monster Message. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
