Friends of the Poor Walk and Run
Friends of the Poor Walk and Run is a community fundraiser benefiting Our Lady of the Wayside’s St. Vincent de Paul ministry. Funds raised will support aid for individuals and families living within the parish boundaries during difficult economic times. The event is the sixth annual 5K Fun Run/Walk organized by the parish.
The event includes the following options:
- 5K run
- 1-mile walk
- Kids Dash free for children 10 and under
Registration is available online with a credit card; early bird pricing ends September 19, 2026. Day-of registration and packet pickup are available, with accepted payments including cash, check, and Zelle. There are no refunds. The event may be canceled due to inclement weather or emergency.
