Itasca Oktoberfast 5K
The sixteenth annual Itasca Oktoberfast 5K is organized by the Itasca Runners Club, a nonprofit and member of Road Runners of America, a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. The event is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at Wesley G. Usher Memorial Park in Itasca, Illinois.
The chip timed race covers a fast and scenic neighborhood route through Itasca and finishes downhill into Usher Park. The distance offered is 5 km. After the race there is a post race party at Usher Park that includes music, food, drinks, and awards.
Proceeds from the Oktoberfast 5K benefit local organizations that provide support to families and individuals by offering food, emergency assistance, mentoring, or financial assistance aimed at promoting healthy, active, and productive lifestyles.
