Metric Marathon
The Metric Marathon is scheduled for October 4, 2026 in Harwood, Maryland, with the event centered at Southern High School, 4400 Solomons Island Rd. The course covers a 26.2-kilometer distance and runs through the Harwood area of southern Anne Arundel County.
This race is the sixth event in the Annapolis Striders Championship Series and is held on the first weekend of October. Entry details for the 2026 race include an online registration period opening July 1 and closing September 28. The standard entry fee is $15.00. Annapolis Striders members receive a club discount that reduces the entry fee to $10.00. If the race is not sold out, race day registration is available at a fee of $25.00.
Participation rules note that runners must be at least 13 years old, following RRCA guidelines. Organizers advise that participants should be able to maintain a 14 minute per mile pace for the event.
