31st Annual 5K Walk-Run Soul Fitness Weekend : The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George's County
The event is a customized hybrid 5K weekend held September 26-27, 2026 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The in-person portion takes place at Watkins Regional Park and includes live Zumba and health vendors. Virtual options include a 5K run and a 5K walk and offer virtual wellness activities that participants can complete from any location.
Participant registration for the in-person and virtual races opens June 13 and closes September 12. Standard participant registration fee is $35. Sponsorship and donor opportunities are available through multiple tiers; sponsor registration remains open through September 27 with tiers that include event recognition, race registrations, and event shirts.
Proceeds support mental health awareness and research, efforts to address childhood hunger, and other local community programs administered by The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George’s County in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Iota Gamma Omega Chapter.
