Event Details
The Friends of Government Canyon 13th Annual Recharge Run is a trail run fundraiser held at Government Canyon State Natural Area. The event offers a 15K and an 8K distance. All race entry fees go directly to funding projects at the natural area, as the event benefits the Friends of Government Canyon, a non-profit organization.
Race Format
There is an in-person race and a virtual option. The in-person races are chip-timed. Awards are given for the top three male and female finishers, and the top three male and female masters finishers (age 50+). All finishers receive a medal. There are no age group awards. The event has a participant cap of 300.
Virtual Option
Virtual participants can run or walk their chosen distance on any route and at any time. They are not eligible for awards. A digital race bib is available for download.
