Friends of 4 Parks 5K and 10K Race
The Friends of 4 Parks 5K and 10K Race takes place on September 27, 2026 at Macombs Dam Park in the Bronx, NY. The event offers two distance options listed below and is organized as a community run and walk. Registration includes a commemorative T shirt while supplies last and may include a processing fee.
- 5K Run/Walk one loop
- 10K Run two loops
The course runs through the four parks of the Historic Lower Grand Concourse: Joyce Kilmer, Franz Sigel, Macombs Dam, and Wendell Foster Park. Runners pass the Lorelai Fountain, the Bronx Supreme Court, and Yankee Stadium. The start and finish are at the track in Macombs Dam Park. For accurate finish times and splits, 10K participants must run through the finish line for both loops.
Participant amenities include personalized race bibs when registered three weeks in advance, Waterloo sparkling water, finish line photos, live online results, and same day finish line pictures. Age group results are posted online with top three male and female listings though no awards are offered. A general bag area is provided and monitored by volunteers however the organizers are not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
