Event

The June Freedom Run 5K takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas. The event is a 5K run/walk held at the PrairieFire campus at 5661 W 135th St. Participants will receive finisher medals and t-shirts, with shirts only guaranteed for entries completed before May 16, 2026. The race is scheduled to coincide with a Juneteenth OP event that includes a parade, a petting zoo, face painting, and vendors.

The listed entry price is $35, with an increase after May 15, 2026 at 11:59pm CDT. Online registrations are accepted through June 11, 2026; onsite registration will be available on race morning beginning at 6:30am. Packet pickup is available at Very Fit Co., 12208 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66216 on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A second packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at a location to be determined.
