June Freedom Run 5K : Overland Park
The June Freedom Run 5K takes place on June 13, 2026 at the Prairiefire campus, 5661 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66223. The event is presented as a 5K run/walk and is described as a new community race in the area.
Participants will receive finisher medals, and event shirts are provided with the note that shirts are not guaranteed for registrations submitted after May 16, 2026. Packet pickup is available in advance at Very Fit Co., 12208 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS on June 6, 2026, and at a second location listed as TBD on June 11, 2026. Leftover packets will be transported to the race site on race morning. Online registrations are accepted through June 11, 2026, and onsite registration is available on the morning of the race.
A Juneteenth OP community event follows the race and includes a parade, a petting zoo, face painting, vendors, and similar activities.
