Event overview
The June Freedom Run 5K is a 5K run/walk set for Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Overland Park, KS. The event entry fee is $35. Registration opens on November 30, 2025. The event will include finisher medals and t-shirts. The race is scheduled to take place alongside a Juneteenth OP community event that follows the run and includes a parade, a petting zoo, face painting, vendors, and an appearance by KC Wolf.
Location and logistics
The start/finish area is at the Prairiefire campus, 5661 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66223. Packet pickup is available at the following locations: Very Fit Co., 12208 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66216; and Basecamp Fitness Overland Park, 8661 W. 135th St., Overland Park, KS. Leftover packets will be taken to the race site on race morning. Sponsors are listed for the event, and volunteer and sponsor forms are provided by the organizer.
