What the event is
The Freedom 4 Miler TAMPA is a community running event scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026 in Tampa, FL (zip 33614). The event raises money for Believe With Me's Gold Star Christmas project, which provides Christmas gifts for children of fallen soldiers. All proceeds benefit surviving family members.

Course, awards and logistics
The 4 mile course is chip timed. Each mile is named for a local fallen hero and features props, signs, food, snacks and music along the route. Ruck participants must provide their own rucking gear; recommended weights are 25 lb for women and 35 lb for men. Post-race offerings include pancakes, an auction and an awards ceremony. Free parking is available. Organizers note that shirts and finisher medals are provided only to a limited number of registrants and that race bibs are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
