16th Annual Free-Da's Run: 5K Run/Walk

The event is a community 5K Run/Walk held on March 14, 2027 at McAllister Park, Pavilion #2, 13298 Buckhorn Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247. The in person distance is 5K. A virtual participation option is also available.

There are separate registration windows and fees for each option. In person registration opens May 23, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026 with a registration fee of $35. The virtual option opens June 3, 2026 and closes March 2, 2027 with a registration fee of $45.

The event program includes a costume contest for the best FREEDA costume and a Fiesta following the event. Additional activities are planned as part of the occasion.
