Four Corners Wine Run 5k
The event is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Four Corners Winery in Valparaiso, Indiana on August 23, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the winery and follows local roads to the north and west of the property. The race is open to runners and walkers.
Registration includes a Super Soft Ring Spun Cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal, and a race bib with chip timing. Results are posted online and participants receive a pour of wine; minors who register receive a shirt, medal, and bib but do not receive a wine glass or a pour.
The event partners with the Porter County Animal Shelter, a publicly owned no-kill shelter that cares for over 1,000 animals annually. Age group awards are offered for the top three finishers in each category. Age categories use ten-year bands: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over.
Additional details note that competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. There is no award ceremony; winners should check posted results and pick up awards at the registration table. Packet pick-up is available on race day morning only. Dogs are not permitted on site due to farm regulations. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of uneven ground. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
