Course and race logistics
The course consists of two loops with one hill on each loop. The route includes roots and small branches; runners are asked to be cautious. All runners receive a one-size-fits-all winter hat and gloves. The event uses manual timing: finishers receive a popsicle stick at the finish and must turn that stick in to the organizers. There is no formal awards ceremony; overall winners and top three age-group finishers receive medals when they turn in their stick. Snacks, water, and Powerade are available at the outdoor shelter after finishing. Old race shirts and hats will be available for sale for $5.
