Festivus 5K Run - Chesterton, IN (December 13, 2026)
Festivus 5K Run is part of the Race the Region series and takes place at Running Vines Winery, 101 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304. The event includes two running events and on-site race services provided by the organizer.

The event offers custom finisher medals and custom finisher certificates. Timing mats at the starting line and chip timing for finish results are used, with live results delivered via text and email messaging while the race is in progress. All course turns will have directional signs. There is no processing fee for online signup.
Awards include miniature Festivus Poles for top overall male and female, top masters male and female, and top three male and female in multiple age groups. The kids fun run is non-competitive. Advanced packet pick-up and registration are scheduled the two days before the event at Extra Mile Fitness Company, 3400 Calumet Ave., Valparaiso, IN. Participants must be registered before November 17 to guarantee shirt sizes and availability.
As each 5K participant crosses the starting line, their start time is recorded and finishers receive a text message and/or email with their finishing time. Awards presentation begins after the last finisher. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
