Foundry Halloween Run
The Foundry Halloween Run is a community 5k held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The race starts and finishes in the parking lot of Soda Creek Elementary School at 220 Park Ave. The event benefits Foundry Steamboat Springs, an organization that provides integrative body, mind, and spirit treatment programs in a natural mountain setting.
The course is a mixed surface out and back that uses trail and road. Runners proceed through Butcher Knife Creek, head up Spring Creek, and turn around at the pond. There is no aid station on the course. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged and leashed dogs are welcome to participate. Halloween treats will be available after the race.
Awards are given for first, second, and third place male and female finishers. Every participant is entered in a prize raffle held after the awards ceremony. A race T-shirt is available for an additional fee and may not be guaranteed after October 17. Packet pickup and in person registration occur near the start on race day. The event is presented as part of the Steamboat Springs Running Series and supports local nonprofit efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
