Foster City 5k Fun Run
The Foster City 5k Fun Run is a community road event presented as the Third Annual edition on Saturday, May 2. The event benefits the Chamber Foundation and finishes near a Mother's Day Weekend Market at Sea Cloud Park and the levee.
The event offers both timed and untimed group waves and includes a separate 1k dash. Specific participant groups include runner groups for timing, an inflatables and costume group, a family group, a dog run, and a walker group. Dogs are allowed only in the dog corral and must self-transport; there is no shuttle service for dogs. Strollers are permitted only in untimed groups. All humans entering corrals must be registered, including chaperones and youth in strollers.

Packet pickup is available on multiple days at locations in Foster City, Burlingame, and Redwood City prior to race day. Day of registration and day of bib pickup at Bayside Towers are offered. Parking is at Bayside Towers with shuttle service to Sea Cloud Park; there is no parking at Sea Cloud Park. Shuttles were noted as improved for 2026.
Participants receive event shirts and swag. Adults receive a shirt, swag bag and finishers medal. Youth and 1k dash participants receive a swag bag and finishers medal. Top three timed finishers in each age bracket receive an embroidered Turkish beach towel as a prize. Live music will be provided by a local band called Misunderstood.
