Event Overview
The Foster5K + Kids Dash is the 10th annual edition of this event. It takes place at Martial Cottle Park in San Jose. The proceeds from the event benefit Child Advocates of Silicon Valley and its Court Appointed Special Advocate program.
Event Distances
- A chip-timed 5K run/walk for participants of all ages.
- A Kids Dash for participants aged 12 and under, which includes a 700m sprint for ages 6–10 and a 250m dash for ages 5 and under. Registration for children 5 and under is free.
Awards and Recognition
First-place finishers in the male, female, and all-gender/non-binary categories for the 5K will receive a pair of SHOKZ headphones. Other age division winners for the 5K will also receive recognition. All participants in the Kids Dash receive a medal and a goodie bag.
