The event is a club duathlon held at Forster Keys on Elizabeth Parade, Forster NSW 2428. Two race distance options are listed:

The cycle course leaves transition and heads north toward Elouera Crescent, following the left-hand side of the loop down Elizabeth Parade to its southern turnaround, then returns to transition to complete one loop. The run course departs transition and turns left to run around a marked tree, follows the grass south to a turnaround by the bank, and returns on the road side to transition to complete one lap. Each run lap is 1 km.
