Forster Club Triathlon
The event is a club triathlon held at Forster Keys on Elizabeth Parade. It is organised with multiple grade distances and clearly defined swim, cycle and run courses.
Distances by grade:
- A-D grade: 400 m swim, 15 km ride, 4 km run
- E grade: 300 m swim, 12 km ride, 3 km run
- F grade: 200 m swim, 9 km ride, 2 km run
Swim course details: the swim start and finish are located south of the boat ramp on Elizabeth Parade for A-D and F grades. E grade starts and finishes at the middle marker. Competitors swim south; F grade turns at the middle marker and returns to the start/finish. Other grades swim to the far buoy and return to the start/finish.
Cycle course: from transition riders head north towards Elouera Crescent and follow it on the left side. The route continues down Elizabeth Parade to its southern turnaround and follows the loop on the left side back toward transition to complete one lap. Lap counts correspond to ride distance: five laps equal 15 km, four laps equal 12 km, three laps equal 9 km.
Run course: exiting transition, runners turn left to run around a marked tree, proceed south on the grass to a turnaround, and return on the road side to transition. Each run lap is 1 km. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
