Forgotten Forest 9-Hour Ultra - Stratford, CT
The Forgotten Forest 9-hour ultra is a timed trail event held on a well-marked single and double-track loop in Roosevelt Forest, Stratford, CT. The loop measures 2.2 miles and features roughly 131 feet of elevation gain per lap with typical New England trail conditions such as roots, rocks and rolling hills.
The event is limited to 50 participants. Registration is final; there are no refunds, bib transfers or race deferrals. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have a parental or guardian signed waiver. CDC, state and town requirements are applied.
On course support is centralized at the pavilion, which serves as the only aid station. Porta potties are located nearby. Parking space is limited; larger vehicles are directed to use a side lot and RVs are not permitted in the main parking area. Dogs may attend as spectators but must be kept on leash.
Swag and on-course fuel are provided; some branded non-alcoholic beer is listed among the entry items. Race shirts are available for purchase during registration and in limited quantities on race day. Podium awards are given to the runners who log the most miles by the race end for top three male and top three female finishers.
