About the race
The Forever Friends Memorial Run is the 25th annual memorial 5K Run/Walk held on September 20, 2026, at 180 ELCO Drive, Myerstown, Pennsylvania. The event benefits Eastern Lebanon County High School student athletes and includes $500 scholarships to selected participants, with the number awarded depending on the applicant pool and available funding. The event remembers and celebrates the lives of three individuals.
Race options include:
- 5K measured on road and off road
- 1 mile course
Awards and results are timed with a finish clock and instant results. Awards are given to male and female overall finishers and to the top three places in each age and gender category, with an additional place listed for the 70+ category. Participants must complete the race/walk in 54 minutes to be eligible for awards. An awards ceremony and door-prize drawings take place after the race; awards are not mailed.
Registration details in the event information include an early/post-marked rate of $22 that includes a long-sleeved screen printed t-shirt if post-marked by September 11, 2026. Race day registration is noted at $15 with shirts available on a first-come, first-served basis. Online registration through September 13, 2026 guarantees a t-shirt.
