For the Love of Max

Event Overview
The For the Love of Max is a community event held in Annville, Pennsylvania. It features a 5k Fun Run/Walk to honor and remember a local resident. This is not a timed event, as the focus remains on memorializing Max and supporting the UPMC Child Advocacy Center of Central PA, an organization dedicated to treating children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
Course and Logistics
The course is approximately 3.1 miles long. Participants complete the distance by following an approximate one-mile loop. The event infrastructure includes several amenities for those attending:
- A 5k distance (approximately 3.1 miles) completed in a one-mile loop.
Parking is available at the Rotunda Restaurant and Brewery, the Annville Municipal parking lot, and through public street parking. Restroom facilities are located inside the restaurant. Participants are provided with water, and coffee and donuts are available both before and after the activity.
Post-Event Activities
Following the run, a gathering takes place inside the Tiki area of the Rotunda Restaurant. This social portion of the event includes live entertainment.
