The 5K Foam Fest, Vancouver Island BC
The 5K Foam Fest on Vancouver Island takes place Saturday, May 29, 2027 at Laketown Ranch Music & Recreation Park in Lake Cowichan. The event runs over a roughly 5 kilometre course with a series of on-course features and festival amenities.
The course includes 25 obstacles and more than 2.5 million cubic feet of foam delivered on site. Obstacles listed for the event include inflatable slides, multiple slip n slides, foam chambers, foam start and finish areas, Spider Web Forest sections, cargo climbs, tire hops, log rolls, splash features, hill climbs, body washers, a mega slide and mud features at certain venues.
Event access and items included with participant entry are a string bag, a 5K Foam Buff, a finishers medal, a festival wristband, temporary tattoos, and a free low resolution finish photo. On-site services and amenities include water stations, a rinse station, a kids free fun zone, a live DJ, food vendors, a licensed beer garden, a merch tent, gear check (donation), shaded areas and provisions noted as going green.
Published pricing shows a current ticket price of $59.99 and a full price of $139.99, both subject to local taxes and fees; spectators are free. An optional camping offer for participants on Friday May 28 is available at $75 per site with specific site rules, parking fees, quiet time and checkout details.
