Electrolit 5K Foam Fest : Vancouver Island, British Columbia
The event takes place Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Laketown Ranch Music & Recreation Park in Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island. The format is a 5 km course featuring more than 25 obstacles. Listed obstacles and features include Electrolit Foamy Start, Chamber of Foam, Walls (x2), Slip n Slide (x3), Spider Web Forest, Turtle Hurdle, Log Roll, Hill Climb, Tire Hop, Foam Zone, Cargo Climb, DD Mega Slide, The Corkscrew and Electrolit Foamy Finish. Mud Crawl and Mud Pit are noted as available at certain venues only.
The organizer states that 2.5 million cubic feet of foam will be used. Included items and on-site amenities reported are a string bag, 5K Foam Buff, finisher medal, festival wristband, temporary tattoo, a free low resolution finish photo, Kids Free Fun Zone, water stations, live DJ, food vendors (paid), a licensed beer garden (paid), merch tent, Sky Fall, rinse station, shaded areas and eco friendly measures. A camping option is offered for Friday, May 29 and is available to registered participants and immediate family. Camping details list $75 per site for up to 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children under 12, a 20x34' site suitable for RVs or tenting, parking $20 per vehicle paid on arrival, no glass bottles, no pets, extra camper wristbands available up to a maximum of 8 per site, quiet time at 12:00 AM and checkout at 5:00 PM on May 30.
