Electrolit 5K Foam Fest at Vancouver Island BC
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the Electrolit 5K Foam Fest takes place at Laketown Ranch Music & Recreation Park in Lake Cowichan, British Columbia. The event is a 5K course with more than 25 obstacles and a large volume of foam; organizers state they pump 2.5 million cubic feet of foam at each event. Obstacles listed include inflatable waterslides, slip n slides, foam chambers, cargo climbs, mega slides, wipeout features and other inflatable elements. Mud Crawl and Mud Pit are noted as available at certain venues only.
Included with entry are a string bag, a 5K Foam Buff, a finisher medal, a festival wristband, a temporary tattoo and a low resolution finish photo. Onsite amenities include water stations, a live DJ, food vendors, a licensed beer garden, a merch tent, a kids free fun zone, rinse stations, shaded areas and a gear check available for a donation. Spectators attend free.
Camping at Laketown Ranch is offered Friday, May 29 for registered participants and immediate family. Campsite fee is $75 per site for up to four adults or two adults with three children under 12; parking is $20 per vehicle payable on arrival. Camping rules include no glass bottles, no pets, a maximum of eight people per site with extra camper wristbands, quiet time at 2:00 am and checkout by 5:00 pm on May 30.
