The Florida Turkey Trot at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida is a community run and walk held on November 27, 2025. The event is presented by Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. Registration options include in-person and virtual entries. Registration benefits include a professionally managed course, a recycled poly-rayon race shirt, a finisher's medal, and chip timing for the timed 5K. The post-race area offers pastries, fruit, beverages including mimosas, and a sweet treat for participants. The fastest 100 overall male and fastest 100 overall female finishers, by chip time, will receive Thanksgiving-themed awards.

Packet pickup is available in the days before the race at Fit2Run The Runner's Superstore - UTC in Sarasota. Parking is on Regatta Island grass fields with additional nearby lots within walking distance. Dogs and strollers are allowed if started from the back of the corral; children in strollers do not need registration but must remain in their stroller during the 5K. Race safety guidance asks participants to keep headphones low and to notify staff of medical emergencies. The director reserves the right to cancel for severe weather; cancellations for inclement weather are not refunded and may be treated as donations. Pre-race registration cancellations are subject to a service fee and processing fees and must be requested at least 14 days before race day.
