Florida Turkey Trot - Sarasota, FL
The Florida Turkey Trot takes place on 11/26/2026 at 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle in Sarasota, Florida. The event offers a timed 5K run/walk and a Kids Dash for ages 12 and under.

The 5K is chip timed and all participants receive a race bib, a finisher's medal, and a recycled poly-rayon commemorative shirt. The Kids Dash is bracketed by age groups: 3y-4y, 5y-6y, 7y-9y, and 10y-12y. Children registered for the 5K may also take part in the Kids Dash. Runners in the 5K must be 5 years of age or older; any child 4 or under must remain in a stroller if they accompany a parent or guardian during the 5K.
A post-race party will provide complimentary food and beverages, including pastries, fruit, and drinks. All participants receive a special sweet treat to take home. Shirt sizes are distributed on a first come, first serve basis; after a size is sold out registrants may choose a remaining size or select the no shirt option with no fee reduction.
Based on chip time, the fastest 100 male and 100 female finishers in the 5K will receive a special Thanksgiving themed award. Registration windows and fees are set per event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
