The Florida Turkey Trot at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida is a community run and walk held on November 27, 2025. The event is presented by Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. Packet pickup is available in the days before the race at Fit2Run The Runner's Superstore - UTC in Sarasota. Parking is on Regatta Island grass fields with additional nearby lots within walking distance. Dogs and strollers are allowed if started from the back of the corral; children in strollers do not need registration but must remain in their stroller during the 5K. Race safety guidance asks participants to keep headphones low and to notify staff of medical emergencies. The director reserves the right to cancel for severe weather; cancellations for inclement weather are not refunded and may be treated as donations. Pre-race registration cancellations are subject to a service fee and processing fees and must be requested at least 14 days before race day.
