Florida Turkey Trot
The Florida Turkey Trot is a 3.1 mile run and walk held on November 26, 2026 in Sarasota, Florida at 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, 34235. The event offers both a timed 5K and a separate kids dash for children 12 and under.

The 5K registration includes a chip timed race bib, a recycled poly-rayon commemorative shirt, and a finisher medal. All participants are invited to a post race party with complimentary food and beverages and will receive a special sweet treat to take home. The fastest 100 male and fastest 100 female finishers by chip time will receive Thanksgiving themed awards.
The Kids Dash is bracketed by age groups: 3y-4y, 5y-6y, 7y-9y, and 10y-12y. Children registered for the 5K may also participate in the Kids Dash. For the 5K, participants must be at least 5 years of age; any child 4 or under must remain in a stroller if accompanying a parent or guardian during the 5K.
Shirt sizes are allocated on a first come first serve basis. After a shirt size sells out, registrants may choose from remaining sizes or select a no shirt option; no fee discount is provided for the no shirt option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
