Flamingo 5K - Sarasota, FL
The Flamingo 5K takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Siesta Key Beach. The event address is 948 Beach Rd, Sarasota, FL 34242. The event is produced by My Favorite Race Events and is a beach run and walk along Siesta Key Beach. Proceeds will support Fighting Flamingos in Sarasota County for breast cancer awareness.

Logistics and entry
Entry fees and key dates listed by the organizer:
- Flamingo 5K: $35; price increases after August 2, 2026.
- Virtual Flamingo 5K: $45; registration ends September 25, 2026.
- Flock Cancer 1 Mile Frolick: $30; price increases after August 2, 2026.
All participants receive a finisher’s medal. Participants registered before the shirt cut-off on September 23 will receive a gender-specific tech tee. Awards for the 5K include male and female overall, youth overall (14 and under), masters through Senior Veteran Grandmasters, and age groups three deep. A $5 club discount applies for members of Zoomers, MTC, and Sarasota Storm for the 5K only (discount expires August 4, 2026).
Packet pick up:
- Advanced packet pick up: Friday, October 9 (location TBD).
- Race morning packet pick up: October 10 at the Sea Turtle Pavilion, Siesta Key Beach. Parking lots D and E are the closest lots.
