Event Overview
The Flamingo 5K is a running event held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida. The event features three participation options: the main 5K, a 1 Mile Frolick (also referred to as a Frolic), and a Virtual Flamingo 5K.

The run and walk take place along Siesta Key Beach, starting at 948 Beach Road. The event is described as a beach run and walk.
Additional Event Features
The event is an annual fundraiser for breast cancer awareness, with proceeds directed to support individuals in the Sarasota County area. All in-person participants receive a finisher's medal. Participants registered before September 23rd receive a gender-specific technical t-shirt.
A post-race "Flamingo Fiesta" includes food, music, awards, and activities for all ages. Awards are given for the 5K only, including overall male, female, and youth (14 and under) winners, as well as age group and master's categories.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM at the Sea Turtle Pavilion on Siesta Key Beach. The closest parking areas are lots D and E.
