Flagstaff to Grand Canyon Stagecoach Line Races
The event is a multi-discipline endurance weekend presented by Babbitt Ranches. It takes place along the Arizona Trail north of the San Francisco Peaks and uses the historic Stagecoach Line corridor between Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. The program includes solo and team relay formats for both running and mountain biking.
Races and options include:
- 100-Mile Run
- 55K Run
- 100-Mile Mountain Bike Race
- Relay teams for running and cycling
The event date is September 19–20, 2026. Race documentation includes separate manuals for the run and bike events and published course information with driving directions. Results and event photographs from past years are maintained for reference. The organizer also produces distinctive finisher buckles for 100-mile run and bike finishers and shares images of how those buckles are made.
A related endurance challenge, the Under the Shadow of the Peaks Endurance Double, recognizes participants who complete either the Stagecoach 100-Mile Solo Run or the 55K Solo Run during the September weekend and then complete the full 26.2 mile Flagstaff Marathon on October 3. Volunteer coordination and historical race results are part of the event support structure. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
