Flagstaff to Grand Canyon Stagecoach Line Races
The Flagstaff to Grand Canyon Stagecoach Line Races take place September 19–20, 2026. The event is presented by Babbitt Ranches and is associated with the Arizona Trail Association. Courses use the Arizona Trail north of the San Francisco Peaks around course mile 19.
The program includes multiple endurance formats and team options:
- 100 mile run
- 55K run
- 100 mile mountain bike race
- relay teams
Race materials and logistical information are provided for participants. Separate manuals exist for the running and the mountain bike events. Course information and driving directions are published, and past results and event photos are maintained. The event also produces finisher buckles for the 100 mile run and bike finishers.
A linked combination challenge called the Under the Shadow of the Peaks Endurance Double pairs the Stagecoach event with the Flagstaff Marathon. To qualify for that double award, a participant must finish either the Stagecoach 100 mile solo run or the 55K solo run on September 19–20 and then complete the Flagstaff Marathon on October 3. The double includes a special finisher award that follows the style of the 2025 award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
