- Saturday, September 26: 50 Miler, 50K, 6-hour fixed-time event, 12-hour fixed-time event, 26K, 11K, 5K
- Sunday, September 27: 6K, 20K
Location and Course
The event takes place at Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff, Arizona, within the Coconino National Forest. Most races use a 3.4-mile "Agassiz Loop" course that circumnavigates the Arizona Snowbowl property, with an elevation reaching 11,500 feet. The Friday Hill Climb ascends 2,100 feet in 1.4 miles to the top of the Arizona Gondola. The 5K course is described as flat and loops through aspen trees.
The Sunday 20K is a point-to-point race starting at the Fort Valley Trailhead (approximately 7,200 feet elevation) and finishing at Agassiz Lodge after climbing to 11,500 feet and descending ski slopes. The Sunday 6K starts at Agassiz Lodge, climbs to the Arizona Gondola, and descends ski runs. The fall date coincides with seasonal aspen foliage.
