Course, logistics and team rules
The half marathon starts at Camosun Park Running Track and is two laps of the marked trail route through Pacific Spirit Regional Park. The course description names trails such as Salish, Sword Fern, SW Marine Trail, Clinton Trail, Imperial Trail, Hemlock, Sasamat and the connection back to W16th. The 10 km is one lap of this route with a modified section; the 5 km follows a shorter trail sequence via IronKnee, Council, Huckleberry and Sasamat back to the finish. Teams consist of four runners, are not relays, run together, and receive a team time based on the average of the four individual times; if team members do not complete the race, remaining members will be scored only as individuals. Ample parking is available adjacent to the park along W16th. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
