Course, logistics and awards
The course uses the Fox River Trail and Glacial Drumlin Trail and is described as flat. All races start at the E.B. Shurts Building. The half marathon route is a lap course that is repeated three times. There are two aid stations stocked with water, sports drink, and energy gels; all distances pass each aid station outbound and inbound. Parking at the building lot is limited; street parking is available nearby and participants are asked not to use business parking lots. All finishers receive a finisher woodle; top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups receive a custom woodle. The 5K also includes an Average Joe & Jane award for the middle finisher. Volunteers may receive future race entry at no charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
