FireK 26
FireK 26 is a community running event held on October 31, 2026 in Evans, GA, listed at Patriot's Park. The event offers roadway or trail distances and family-focused activities throughout the site.

Activities and on-site features include fire apparatus on display, fire-related activities for children, Super Heroes appearances, a Kid's Fun Zone, a live DJ, a Kid's Fun Run, trophies, door prizes, and a free hotdog lunch.
Firefighters are encouraged to register as teams to compete in the 5K for a bragging rights trophy and an additional prize.
The event promotes a mission to support firefighters and their families facing cancer. The mission focuses on supporting individual financial needs of firefighting families battling cancer, providing no-cost preemptive screenings that meet NFPA and IAFC recommendations, and connecting firefighters with resources to prevent, reduce, and manage cancer risks. Between 2002 and 2017, 61% of firefighter deaths on record were attributed to occupational cancer; firefighters have a higher chance of getting cancer and an increased risk of dying from that cancer compared with civilian counterparts.
