Firecracker Four : Hales Corners
The Firecracker Four is an annual Fourth of July running event held at Hales Corners Park, 5765 South New Berlin Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130. The 48th edition offers a timed 4 mile run and a 1.4 mile untimed fun run that follow neighborhood streets in Hales Corners. The event is one of several activities organized by the Hales Corners Fourth of July Committee.

- 1.4 Miles untimed fun run
- 4 Miles and 1.4 Miles options with discounted entry for those aged 12 and under
Registration opens February 18. Pre-race registration is available until midnight on July 3. All registration is online; race day registration is also available at Hales Corners Park for a higher fee. Pre-race entry fees are listed as $35 for the 4 mile, $25 for the 1.4 mile, and $15 for youth entries under 12. Race day registration is $40 and a race shirt is not guaranteed.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at local locations before race day and on race morning at Hales Corners Park. Post-race refreshments include cookies, chocolate milk, and other items. Awards for the 4 mile include overall trophies and medals for the top four finishers in each male and female age group. Volunteers receive a race shirt and recognition.
