Event details
The Turkey Trot 5K - Racine is scheduled for November 27, 2025 in Racine, Wisconsin at Festival Park (also called Rotary Park). The event distance is 5 km (3.1 mi). Categories include a competitive timed 5K and a recreational/non-timed option. Same-day registration is available. The event supports local charities and a community food drive; organizers list preferred donations such as canned fruit, peanut butter, tuna, beef stew, instant potatoes, and fruit juice. After the race a complimentary community Thanksgiving meal will be served at Festival Hall for participants, families, and friends.
Course and logistics
The course follows the Lake Michigan Pathway and includes views of the lakefront, North Beach, and the River Walk; the path is ADA-compliant. The race is chip-timed and uses a shoe tag system; participants must wear shoe tags and a visible race bib to be timed. Packet pickup is available the day before and on the day of the event. Amenities noted include indoor heated bathrooms, parking on the grounds including a city parking ramp, food and water at the finish line, a finisher medal, commemorative bib and certificate, optional performance shirts for an additional fee, and awards. Overall awards are based on gun start while age-category awards use chip times. Results are posted online and may be provisional for up to 48 hours.
