Turkey Trot 5K - Racine
The Turkey Trot 5K in Racine is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at Festival Park (Rotary Park) on Racine's lakefront near North Beach. The course follows the Lake Michigan Pathway and uses an ADA compliant path that provides lake views, overlooks, and seating areas.

All registered participants receive a finisher's medal, commemorative race bib, and a t-shirt with options for regular tee, v-neck, or long sleeve. The event uses a shoe tag timing system; shoe tags and visible race bibs are required for timing and insurance purposes. Food and water are available at the finish line, and indoor heated bathrooms are provided on site. There will be no awards ceremony after the race.
Registration options include same-day registration, fundraising-for-free entry with set goals ($150 youth, $250 adult), a social media share discount, and referral credit toward registration fees. Parking is available throughout the grounds including a city parking ramp. A complimentary community Thanksgiving meal at Festival Hall follows the event and the race supports local food banks; requested donations include canned fruit, peanut butter, tuna, beef stew, instant potatoes, and fruit juice.
