Race details and logistics
The course follows the Lake Michigan Pathway and lakefront trails, with views of Lake Michigan, North Beach, and the River Walk. The route includes an ADA-compliant path and is described as having no hills. The 5K is chip-timed with a chip start and uses a shoe tag timing system; participants must wear shoe tags and a visible race bib to be timed. All participants receive a finisher medal, a commemorative race bib, and a T-shirt option; an optional performance T-shirt is available for an additional fee. The event provides food and water at the finish line and offers awards, with the top three overall male and female finishers given O&H Danish Kringle as they cross the finish line. No awards ceremony will be held after the race. Packet pickup is available at Festival Hall before the event and on race day. Parking is available on site, including a city parking ramp.
