Finish The Run Griffith Park
Finish The Run Griffith Park is part of a two day set of running and cycling events presented by Streets Are For Everyone to support road safety work in Southern California. The events are based at the Autry Museum in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, and have been held since 2014.
Run courses use horse paths and natural running trails inside Griffith Park and are not on roads. The run program includes short children and puppy runs near the Autry, shorter trail runs with only minor hills, and a half marathon that includes about 1,500 feet of elevation gain through the park hills.
Ride routes start and end at the Autry and connect to the LA River bike path. Several rides include flat sections through Griffith Park and Burbank, while longer routes include climbs up Mt. Hollywood, passages past the Trails Cafe and Happier Camper pit stops, and segments through Chinatown and across the 6th Street Bridge before returning along the river path. Rollers and multiple bicycle types, including class I and II e bikes in pedal assist mode only, are welcome on select ride lengths.
