About the race
The Filey Lions 10K Beach Race is an annual running event held in Filey, North Yorkshire, organized by the Filey Lions Club since 2015. The race covers a flat, multi-terrain 10-kilometre course along Filey Beach, starting and finishing near the Filey Sailing Club. Runners head south along the marshalled beach to a 5km water station before returning to the start/finish line.
