Filey Lions 10K Beach Race - overview

The Filey Lions 10K Beach Race takes place on 14 June 2026 in Filey, North Yorkshire. The event is organised by Filey Lions Club and has been held annually since 2015. Course and facilities

The race starts and finishes close to Filey Sailing Club, which also serves as race headquarters and registration point. The course is a single lap along the beach, heading south along a marshalled section, turning at a 5 km water station, and returning to the start/finish arch. The course is described as multi-terrain with a flat profile and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
