Filey Lions 10K Beach Race
The Filey Lions 10K Beach Race takes place on 14 June 2026 in Filey, North Yorkshire. Organised by Filey Lions Club since 2015, the event is a 10 kilometre run held on the beach with race headquarters and registration at Filey Sailing Club.
The course is a single lap of approximately 10 km along a marshalled beach. Runners head south from the start, turn at the 5 km water station and return to the start and finish arch. The route is described as multi terrain with a flat profile and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Entry is limited to 250 participants; the listed remaining places are 188. Entry on the day is not available. Entry fees are shown as Affiliated £18.00 and Unaffiliated £20.00. Any profits from the event are used by Filey Lions Club to support local charities and community groups.
Facilities at race headquarters include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities, showers and a baggage store.
