About the race

The Fife Pilgrim Way Ultra Marathon is a 90K route that follows historic pilgrimage tracks across Fife, Scotland. The event is listed as a UTMB Index 100K category race and runs between North Queensferry and St Andrews Cathedral. The route passes through historic towns including Dunfermline, Lochore, Markinch and Ceres and moves through coastal and rolling countryside. The race includes an elevation gain of 1,200 m.

The ultra distance is for participants aged 20 and over and has a 15 hour cut-off. Maximum participant capacity is 150. Entry fees are listed as early bird £120 until 1 September 2026 and standard entry £135.

Entries are open. Included for finishers and participants are medals and t-shirts, GPS tracking of runners, hot food at selected aid stations and a shuttle bus back to the start.
